CN #150 and CN #350, two extra trains, were block on block out of Chicago and arrived in this area still block on block. #150 was an extra BNSF intermodal train with BNSF-FXE power and CN #350 was a Canadian Military extra with two UP units. Tally for the day: VIA #70, CN #384, CN #385, CN #150, VIA #73, and CN #350.
Bayview Junction, Ontario
(map) This is where the CN Oakville, CN Grimsby, and CN Dundas subdivisions meet at a great big wye, beside which is the CP Hamilton sub. This location encompasses CN Bayview Junction, Hamilton West, and Hamilton Junction.
CN #384 comes off the Dundas sub for a while.
CN #385 crosses under Plains Road on its way west.
VIA #73 slips by behind CN #150, a detour train with BNSF-FXE power.
